ENCOD / If you want to be a member of the Executive Committee of Encod, please fill out this form and send office@encod.org before June 8, 2009.

A list of candidates will be announced on June 15. The new committee will be elected ENCOD during the General Assembly in Barcelona Encod .

It is assumed that a member of the Executive Committee of ENCOD:

• is actively present in the electronic list of the Executive Committee at least once a week
• is able to understand English (basically)
• give constructive feedback to all proposals made in the EC list, help make a decision on these proposals and then to defend this decision
• serves the interests of the association, which may be different from my own interests
• write the monthly newsletter of Encod once every 5 or 6 months, and comment on drafts written by others (editaddos in the last days of the month
• ENCOD represented at official events, when invited / a
• monitor the functioning of the secretariat, follow the decisions of the General Assembly, the issue of the annual report etc.
• participate in meetings of the EC (2/3 times per year)
• serve as a liaison between the Secretariat and Encod (possibly in working groups formed on specific issues such as national coordinator or language)
